Terri Brinegar Biography

Her voice has been described as "a weapon of great caliber for minds and hearts" and "one of the strongest on the scene". Terri is also an accomplished songwriter and has three CD's of original material to her credit, as well as a fourth CD of Classical songs. She is a voting member of the Recording Academy (The Grammy’s). An accomplished musician who grew up playing a variety of instruments, Terri graduated with a degree in Classical voice and attended The Juilliard School of Music in New York City. She is a seasoned professional with years of stage experience in Los Angeles and Nashville. In LA, she sang in many Blues and R&B bands and performed at the Monterey Bay Blues Festival, the Catalina Blues Festival, House of Blues, BB King’s Blues Club, and countless concert venues. She moved to Nashville to focus on her love of songwriting and performs regularly with her band at Jazz and Blues venues, such as the Hard Rock Café (hosting a monthly jam with some of Nashville’s finest studio and road musicians), F.Scott’s Restaurant, 3rd and Lindsley, Sambuca Restaurant, and others. When performing in Nashville, she often shares the stage with the band members of Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, Clint Black, Taylor Swift, Donna Summer, and the Allman Brothers. Her newest CD “Having The Time of My Life” was recently released in October of 2009 and is garnering world-wide attention, receiving airplay on Jazz radio programs throughout Europe.

• “Having The Time of My Life” was on the Grammy-eligible list for the 2010 awards.
